Therefore, it is recommended that Fats, Oils and Grease be retained by your grease management system, normally a grease trap, thereby preventing the Fats, Oils and Grease from entering the drain. The Fats, Oils and Grease then need to be removed from the grease trap on a regular basis. Euro-Norm 1825 recommends that the trapped Fats, Oil and Grease is removed at least once a month.
