Grease Trap Maintenance

Scheduled maintenance of your grease trap is an essential part of effective control of fats, oils and grease in your drainage system.  Your grease trap will become ineffective, if it is not routinely maintained, and therefore fail to provide the protection from grease build up in your drainage system and potential problems such as slow draining sinks, blocked drains, foul smells and potential environmental prosecution.

THE SD GREASE REMOVAL SERVICE INCLUDES:

• The grease trap is pumped out, thereby removing all the fats, oils, grease and food;
• The pipes entering and leaving the grease trap are checked and cleared of blockages;
• The flow pipe from the sink to the grease trap and to the adjoining manhole are checked and rodded if necessary;
• The grease trap is cleaned and sprayed with a grease dissolving solutions;
• The grease trap is refilled with fresh water and checked.
